What is the architecture style of the New Museum?
Designed by one of the most innovative architecture firms in the country, the New Museum is a seven-story, eight-level contemporary structure located at 235 Bowery between Stanton and Rivington Streets in lower Manhattan. Made of anodized expanded aluminum mesh designed to shimmer in the sunlight, this building in itself is a piece of contemporary art. -
Who designed the New Museum?
The New Museum was designed by Tokyo-based architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa/SANAA. This team was awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2010 and was named one of “The World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies” by Fast Company in 2016 with their ultra-modern, column-free design and solid architecture.
